The quality of the screws is great, however the size is disappointing: the shank diameter of these 9x2" screws is 0.130" which is virtually the same as a No. 8 ****. The thread diameter is 0.175" which is the same as a No. 8 ****. I have 9x2-1/2 screws which have a shank diameter of 0.140" and a thread diameter of 0.185". I don't know the specs for No. 8 and No. 9 screws, but was hoping for a larger diameter thread size than the No. 8 screws I have been using on my metal roof ridge cap as they have "pulled out" of the OSB. Please let me know if the measurements I have given above are normal for a 9X2" ****, or if possibly they were miss packaged.
